NIRW meets on a quarterly basis. The NIRW Program Committee generally meet on a more regular basis.

The meeting quorum for a normal meeting is one-third of the total member Councils. The meeting quorum for the Annual General meeting is a majority of the total Member Councils.

At each meeting of NIRW the location, date, and time of the next meeting is determined. Meeting locations are generally spread throughout the region.
