A mining town in north Sweden, KIRUNA, has been infested with rats from Norway. They are invading the local recycling centre as they love the warm piles of garbage. Locals have called in the exterminators to deal with the invaders.

Around 91% of parents used disposable nappies, which along with adult incontinence pads can makeup 3.5% of municipal solid waste. They take up 145,000m3 in landfill each year and can take as long as 500 years to decompose.
